- Vanilla essence. (wow!)
- Jasmine flowers. (so refreshing...)
- New books. (don't you just love the smell of the print?)
- Freshly baked chocolate cake. (yum!)
- Old Spice men's cologne. (completely intoxicating!)
- The air just after it's rained. (very romantic...)

- Yardley English Rose. (elegant!)
- Dove shampoo. (hehe!)
- Potpourri. (don't tell me you don't know what it is!)

My Top Ten Favourite Smells
My Top Ten Favourite Smells -
Saturday, 15 September 2007
My 19th birthday.

Another year older. Nineteen. One awesome birthday. Right from the new Converse shoes to the Yardley Lavender perfume, from SK's nineteen presents to Soumya's headbutting, from the Tollyclub lunch with friends to the family party at night, from Tanima's call at midnight to the cake... it was great all the way.
Thank you- to everyone who has made it special.

On the closing of the cover of 'David Copperfield'
Finished the 800-plus page book, "David Copperfield" today.
I highlight below my conclusions- with all due respect to Mr. Dickens...
I highlight below my conclusions- with all due respect to Mr. Dickens...
- David Copperfield was a wimp of the highest order. Except when he gathered his guts and slapped Uriah Heep, that is.
- Dora- the BIGGEST nyakachundi in English literature I have EVER come across!
- Mr. Dick- the only interesting character to me.
- David should have ended up with Emily in the first place, instead of falling for an idiot like Dora. I mean, she couldn't even cook!
- Uriah Heep- sounds to me like an amalgamation of Severus Snape and Lord Voldemort.
- The last chapter is VERY well written!
- I loved the part where Copperfield's aunt told Heep to get on with what he was saying, and not make writhing gestures. Most hilarious!
- Found the Micawber sub-plot very boring, somehow.
- Hugh Grant would have been PERFECT for the role of Mr. Dick!
- On the whole, a pretty good book. I started off slightly biased, because I'm not too fond of classics. Yet I found I liked it, barring the negative conclusions.

A few quick scribbles
Halfway through 'David Copperfield'. Quite liking it.
It's certainly more interesting than 'Wuthering Heights'!!
19th birthday 9 days away. I feel so old! Waah!
Mom refused to let me keep a kitten I was offered by one of my seniors. Poor kitty. I hope someone takes it in, though.
Speaking of kitties, where's Pickles? She hasn't set paws in the house for around a month. Hope she's okay. I miss her too darn much.
I am now the proud owner of three pairs of silver earrings. Goody- more additions to my collection!
I still like Orkut more than Facebook. There are waaaay too many applications on Facebook. I get a new invitation for atleast 5 everyday! Geez.
Watched 'Run Lola Run' yesterday. Good movie. Different from most.
I wonder how I would look with red hair.
