Because sometimes, a childhood idol remains a childhood idol- the feelings of admiration never go away. 
And even IPL controversies and hyped Twitter activities can't change that.

@ A Benevolent Sultan For Life: Nope, sadly. The man walked right past me and smiled at me, and I still couldn't muster up the courage to ask him for a picture. But I shall cherish the memory. :) (And I didn't make the same mistake with Dr. Tharoor! Heh.)
