Got my Learner's Permit today.
Took the Zen out for a minute or so, then got freaked out and let my driver take over. Cars coming from all directions- it's freaky!
Today's T2 carried an article about how times are changing- how women are driving better than ever before...
Coincidence? ... I think not.

i'm trying to imagine you driving without getting distracted by random objects, and failing. what care are you driving?

@ Doubletake, Doublethink: At the driving school, a very rickety old Maruti 800. Have tried my hand at my Zen, now. :)
you should really get in touch with me mum, she was like you, spotting random objects far away and stopping in the middle of the road in fear of knocking them down.
cars do not come from everywhere, they come from one direction-forward-and if you just relax and treat the car like a bloody piece of machine controlled by you then it solves the entire problem.
